Multi-phased housing project designed to meet rapidly growing enrolment

Tarleton State University, a member of the Texas A&M University System, selected Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions to finance and develop a new, on-campus living/learning Community to meet a rapidly growing enrolment. The project will unfold in three phases, each involving new and renovated construction as well as the acquisition of campus adjacent areas of land to expand the university's footprint. BOKA Powell is responsible for the architectural design and construction services will be delivered by Balfour Beatty.

  • Phase 1 construction on Heritage Hall was completed August 2014 and consists of 514 beds designed around the residents of a living/learning community with 30 students per community.
  • Phase 2 involved the acquisition of two extended areas of land to build a new 502-suite facility, Integrity Hall. It also included the renovation of an 80-bed apartment community, University Village.
  • Phase 3¬†was delivered in September 2016 and involved the renovation and expansion of Honors Hall, consisting of 446 beds. The project¬†also featured construction of a new 616-suite facility, Traditions Hall. The facility incorporated a university health clinic and offices for the ROTC programme.
